All-you-can-eat AYCE. Came here for Christmas lunch and had a good experience. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the entire meal. We ordered from the dinner menu, and the galbi and beef bulgogi were the highlights. I appreciated how proactive the servers were with changing our grill at regular intervals. It’s a good selection for the price. The only downside was the restroom. There was a very intense smell even before entering the door.

A solid choice that's not anything premium amongst the AYCE KBBQ greats of LA but at under 30 bucks, it usually delivers. If you're tryna pig out after a big workout or run and wanna just get six or seven.. orders brisket or bulgogi then cant go wrong with gen. if you think you're down for ayce lunch then its not a bad deal either. the wait is LONGGGG almost every day for dinner and if its the weekend just be prepared to wait like 2 hours lol. service is usually top notch especially considering how busy they get so servers always coming around and making sure you got everything you need. Food: 7/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Value: 7/10
Last night, our large family of 30 people had an unforgettable dining experience at Gen—the perfect way to wrap up the year. Despite our large group, the service was exceptional. The staff checked on us proactively, helped us with menu recommendations, and even showed us how to enjoy each item at its best. Hands down, this was the best service we’ve ever received at Gen. The quality of the meat was outstanding—so good that we honestly forgot we were at an AYCE BBQ. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend Gen for large groups, family gatherings, and year-end or holiday celebrations!
I just had lunch here at Gen, Great sirloin steak coullotes and honey beef soy sauce marinated beef belly excellent z as well as the Hawaiian beef is also very good , and we also had the mango tango sticky rice wontons is good , all you can eat for $21.99 Great friendly service by our waiter Miguel also
Wow! This place is great!! :) I came in on a Saturday afternoon and was able to get in before the rush. The restaurant is really nice and clean. Very fancy interior and looks really modern. Service was awesome! Even though they were kinda busy was able to get good service. Food comes out fresh and they change out the grill tray everytime and rarely have to ask for a new. I can't wait to come back
